Description
Lord Parshuram is considered the protector of the west. This architecturally splendid temple is situated on Mahendragiri Peak and is said to have the presence of Parshuram. The temple is situated in the Parshuram village, considered the permanent residence place of Lord Parshuram. It is believed that Lord Parshuram leaves for the Himalayas at sunrise, worships in the Himalayas, and returns to the temple at sunset
This temple was built, expanded, and maintained by many rulers over time. It was built by Swami Paramhans Brahmendra. Siddi Rasul Yakut Khan gave financial aid to build this temple nearly 300 years ago
