Description
Welcome to Bhagwaan Parshuraam Bhoomi, located in Burondi, Dapoli. Known as the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, Bhagwan Parshuram embodies wisdom, devotion, sacrifice, and creativity. His life exemplifies dedicated study, scientific pursuit, and profound knowledge of the Vedas. He purged society of evil and guided it towards happiness and goodness, leaving a lasting legacy.
Inspired by the vision from “Shivbharat” by Paramanand, Shri Anil Govind Ganu, proprietor of New Modern Opticians in Pune (Maharashtra), and Shrimati Ashwini Anil Ganu undertook the monumental task of immortalizing Bhagwan Parshuram in a grand statue. Standing at 21 feet high atop a 40-feet diameter semi-circular base representing the Earth, this statue, unveiled on November 16, 2010, faces North. From here, visitors can witness the stunning “Taamasateertha” coastline, known for its reddish waters.
Crafted using the Ferrocrete technique by sculptor Shri Dnyaneshwar Shivaji Gajul from Solapur over a year, this fiberglass masterpiece stands as a testament to dedication and artistry.
In their own words, Smt. Ashwini and Shri. Anil Govind Ganu express, “This project has been a labor of love. Bhagwaan Parshuraam has been a guiding light throughout our lives, and it was His wish to establish this inspiring spot in the beautiful Konkan, His own creation. We hope this statue and its surroundings continue to inspire and empower many in the years to come.”
Discover Bhagwaan Parshuraam Bhoomi, where spirituality meets artistry against the backdrop of the serene Konkan coast.
